Atlas
Atlas is a private household assistant: one place for a family's messages, files, calendar, reminders and phone number, hosted on hardware the family controls.
What Atlas does
Atlas is one assistant a whole household talks to. It knows each person, remembers what matters to them, and quietly handles the chores of running a home:
- Messages. A shared place for the family's conversations with each other and with the assistant.
- Files. A family vault for documents, with a librarian that files things where they belong and finds them again.
- Calendar and reminders. Appointments, tasks and reminders for each person and for the house.
- A household phone number. Calls, texts and voicemail for the home, with transcriptions and summaries.
- Memory. Atlas remembers what each person tells it, and each person can see and edit what it knows.
Everything runs on hardware the household controls, or on a server we operate for that household. Nothing is shared between households, and nothing is sold.
Status
Atlas is in private development and is currently used by a single household. It is not open for sign-ups.
If you'd like to hear when that changes, write to support@atlashomeos.com.
Text messaging
Household members can choose to receive texts from Atlas, such as reminders, calendar and task notifications, voicemail transcriptions, and replies from the assistant. Texting is opt-in from Atlas settings. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
The full program description, including how to opt in and out and what the messages look like, is on the Text messaging program page.
